Today we took a boat to and from Catalina Island. We landed in Avalon and walked around the village. Many people ride around in little golf carts on the island. It is a fun thing to watch. We had hoped to have had fish tacos on the pier but it is closed for the winter. We went instead to the Lobster Shack and had fish tacos and clam chowder there. It is supposed to be the same owners but somehow it just wasn't as good as the first time - perhaps eating in the sunshiine on the pier made it better.
Tonight we had BLT's and soup. We watched Robin Hood with Russell Crowe and we are now headed for bed. Each day has been simple but entertaining. Always good to be with the Jensens.
