Dave was talking with Jim and I about how much we enjoy having the LBH... It is a great experience every day and it is fun to be working together. We are excited to see the new items coming in everyday... it is great to know that there are people who trust us to "house" their items. Yesterday we got some great items... it was so exciting to have these surprises come into the store - earlier in the week we got the duckie butts and the chocolate rabbit molds... it makes this a great business. It is fun to see what new things will happen each day. We have met some great people as well. Last night a fellow came in to talk to Jim about our merchant account. His name is Gary and he was raised in Liverpool England. His great uncle was George Harrison of the Beatles... he had so many interesting things to tell us about his observations of the US. It was a pleasure to talk to him.
And I was mentioning to Jim and Dave how meeting such interesting and nice people is a great part of the job. We also have some great people that work with us... the girls are hard working and dependable.
Some days I get down and feel like this is a lot of work for a small compensation but when I think about so many of the good parts on a day like today, I am glad for the LBH - gotta love it!
